1. The agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of MLA Prep (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for candidates preparing for the UK Medical Licensing Assessment (UKMLA) or equivalent exams.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know immediately at golukicoding@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Don't share your account. Each subscription is for one individual user.
4. Subscription & billing
MLA Prep offers two subscription plans — weekly (£4.99 / week) and annual (£49.99 / year) — processed by our payment partner, Dodo Payments. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current period, except as set out in our Refund Policy.
Prices include VAT where applicable. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.
5. Acceptable use
When you use MLA Prep, you agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, redistribute or republish any questions, explanations, flashcards or other content outside the Service.
- Attempt to access another user's account, the service's underlying infrastructure, or any data you are not authorised to view.
- Use the Service to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model.
- Use the Service in any way that would breach UK law or the General Medical Council's guidance on professional behaviour.
6. Intellectual property
All content within the Service — including questions, explanations, flashcards, mock papers, analytics and design — is owned by MLA Prep or its licensors and is protected by copyright. Your subscription gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal exam preparation only.
7. Not medical advice
MLA Prep is an educational product. Questions and explanations are written for exam preparation and cited against published UK guidance, but the Service does not provide clinical advice, diagnosis or treatment recommendations. Do not use the Service to manage a patient or for any purpose outside exam revision.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of data beyond routine backups, or any indirect or consequential loss.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, at our reasonable discretion and, where possible, after notice. On termination, outstanding refund rights remain subject to the Refund Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we'll update the “last updated” date and notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers may have additional rights under local law.
