AI Policy

Last updated .

1. In short

This page explains how we do — and don't — use artificial intelligence at MLA Prep. The short version: we use AI to help build and run the website, but our study content is written by our team.

2. How we use AI

We use AI tools to help build and maintain the website itself — for example writing and reviewing code, improving performance and reliability, drafting marketing copy, and handling routine data and support tasks. Where AI is involved in anything we publish, a person reviews it and is accountable for it.

3. Our study content

Our study content — the questions, explanations and flashcards — is written and curated by our team, not auto-generated by AI. We organise it around the official UKMLA content map so that what you revise reflects what the exam tests.

4. Accuracy & clinical safety

MLA Prep is a revision aid, not a clinical reference. Our content is prepared for exam practice and may contain errors. Always verify clinical facts against current official sources such as NICE and the BNF, and rely on your own judgement and local protocols. See our Terms for the full medical disclaimer.

5. Using our content to train AI

You may not copy, scrape or use MLA Prep's content — including our questions, explanations and flashcards — to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models. This reflects the acceptable-use rules in our Terms of Service.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our use of AI evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the “last updated” date above.
